There is no class on Monday.
I just want to make sure that we do not have any class on Monday (3/31).
Instead we will have an extra class on 4/21.
FYI, it seems that there would be no Japanese class in CLP this summer although a new teacher will be teaching next fall.

We will be finishing the verb conjugation and start the textbook (pp. 83〜).
So please bring your textbook or handouts.
Homework due Wednesday:

Please write what you did on each day of this last week using the days of the week.
For example...
I went to school on Monday.
I studied Japanese on Tuesday (of course, in Japanese).

Please memorize all the hiraganas. I will ask you at the end of the class again!

four more weeks to go
1) Next week is a spring break of Teachers College, so there will be no Japanese class next week. The next class will be held on Monday, March 24.
2) For homework due Monday in two weeks, since no one has done the homework of making dialogs again..., please do it for the next class.
3) Since Drew is so motivated to learn verb conjugations (Right, Drew?), I am planning to introduce all the conjugations in the next class. We will not be able to deal with their usage a great deal, but at least, I can introduce them, and you can get the gist of them.
So have a nice spring break (if you have one!). Please take a rest, review a little bit, and see you in the next class!

Please change the words that are written as ○○○ below, create new dialogs (just like we did in class previously), and post them on the blog.
You can change their names, too, if you want to.

For Monday
We will be doing the dialog of Lesson 3 (pp. 54-55) first, and then move to the vocabulary and grammar of Lesson 4.
So please read pp. 74-82 if you have time.
Today's homework is make your own dialog and write on the blog. Please use the dialog on page 71 as the template. Please change the name, what they do, and when they do it. You can make a longer one if you like.
The first half of this course is over. You have learned a lot so far.

Verb conjugation is always hard when you learn a foreign language, but you have got to learn it!
We will review it one more time on Wednesday.
Today's homework is making dialogs again. This time, please make use of the ones from pp. 30 to 31 as the templates. Please change things, prices, and so on as you like. (We did this orally in class. So now it is time to write them.)
The dialog 1 (between Mary, seller, and someone unknown) is due Wednesday.
The dialog 2 (between Mary and waitress) is due Thursday.
Everyone, see you on Wednesday.
